Windy Cove RV Park is a great campground for those looking for outdoor activities and a close proximity to the harbor. It is essentially a parking lot with picnic tables, located across from the harbor, and it offers good cell and wifi service. It is a great place to enjoy crabbing and riding ATVs in the nearby sand dunes. The sites are paved, level, and large, and there is a large separate parking area for vehicles, boats, etc. There is an off-leash area at Champion Park and a delicious fish and chips restaurant just across the street. However, the sites dont get much sun due to tall trees behind them and satellite reception is not available. It is best to book early if visiting during the summer, and it is important to check what services are available before setting up.
