What others are saying about this campground
Sinnemahoning Park is a small, private campground tucked away in the mountains. The campground is well-run and well-kept, with 35 sites that are average size and some tucked into the woods and some more open. The park provides minimal services such as electric, but the dump station is one of the best encountered and the bath house is small but well maintained. There are lots of outdoor activities to enjoy, such as biking, hiking, and kayaking, and the bike trail and reservoir are well maintained. The park staff are knowledgeable and eager to provide information about wildlife and hiking trails, and visitors can take a pontoon boat nature ride out on the lake with rangers speaking on wildlife. The entrance to the campground is steep but easily accessible, and the roads in the campground are a mixture of stone, gravel or asphalt. Firewood is provided for campers and the park website and brochures provide GPS coordinates of most important locations. The Bucktail Overlook is a must-see and provides breathtaking views.
