The office is also very far away from most of the sites so you must drive to get anything including ice etc... A pool would enhance this place greatly. This campground is situated in a wooded setting, providing a serene and quiet atmosphere. Despite the picturesque photos on the website, when you arrive you may be placed in a cramped and dirty site in the back. The basketball court is covered in grass, the games room is locked, and cell service is poor. There are no activities for children other than a run down game room and a basketball court. The electric hook-ups are not up to code, the water has sulphur in it, and the beach is dirty. The staff are friendly, but the owner is a real jerk. There are trails 1/2 mile down the road, a lake to swim in, and a field to play ball in. Unfortunately, the campground is not big rig friendly and all of the spots are shaded and covered in sticks, acorns, and rocks. The rec room is old and half the arcade machines do not work. A pool would enhance this campground.
