From The Campground

Greenwood Furnace State Park offers year-round outdoor recreation, including ice fishing, ice skating, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, sledding, hiking, and educational programs. The park office has a visitor center and gift shop with displays on the former ironmaking community and a variety of items for sale. The park also hosts events throughout the year, including the Folk Gathering, Holiday Open House, and Snowfest. The park has an electric-vehicle charging station and is ADA accessible. In case of emergency, call 911 and contact a park employee. The nearest hospital is Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
