The golf course and campsites are very well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. Mill Race Campground is the perfect getaway for those looking for a quiet and peaceful camping experience. Located in the back of a nice golf cart, the campground is full of seasonal campers and has a great view of a nearby farm. The late fall is a great time to visit, as there is not a lot of traffic and the evenings are cool and quiet. There is a nice sized pond for fishing, an open field for playing football and driving RC cars, and a stream for fishing nearby. The campground also has a gorgeous 18 hole golf course on site, as well as a driving range and challenging golf course. The sites have full hookups and are well maintained, and the owners, Roy and Diane, are very friendly and helpful. The wood is perfectly seasoned for a nice fire, and there is plenty of kindling available.
