What others are saying about this campground
Chapman Dam State Park is a small and quiet park in Clarendon, PA. The park has beautiful walking and hiking trails that start from the camping area. Although there is a tight turn when entering the pet-friendly loop, its still possible to park a 41-foot fifth wheel. The park is particularly stunning in the fall, and there are miles of roads for biking. From the entrance to the campsites can be quite a distance but it’s worth it as there are trails galore that can accommodate hikers. All visitors must wear a helmet as it is PA law. There is a catch-and-release lake for fishing. Some campsites have better privacy and shade than others, so researching before selecting a spot is advised. The park is electric-only, but there is a nearby source. Bathrooms are clean, though hot water may take some time to come through. All in all, its a great place for those who love nature, hiking, and cycling.
