This campground is a great place to stay for a weekend getaway. It offers lots of activities for the 4th of July, including beautiful fireworks, bingo, and a nice-sized pool. The store is minimally stocked with a few groceries, and there is no dog walk area or safe place to ride a bike. The fishing pond is covered in algae and is very small, and the hiking trail is hard to find. The roads are narrow and curvy, and the WiFi is only available at the office area. The sites are all gravel with lots of trees and grassy areas for tents. There are a lot of tent campers, kids, and dogs during the weekend, but everyone adheres to noise hours. There are also a lot of full-timers, some of whom have rather trashy spots. The management team lacks customer service and diversity, but the park is clean and the weather is usually good.

Hidden Acres Campground is family camping at its best. Nestled in the woods at the doorstep of Pennsylvania Dutch country, it is the perfect place to leave it all behind for a night, a weekend, a week, or a whole summer season. The campground offers a variety of activities for all ages, including crafts, bingo, poker runs, and dances. The pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and there are catch-and-release fishing ponds on site. Pets are welcome, and there is a dump station available for your convenience. The season runs from May 15th to October 15th, and there is no tent camping allowed.
