Outflow Camping in Confluence, PA is a lovely COE campground located at the foot of the dam where the outflow is. It has flat grounds with a nice walking path along the river and a good launch site for kayaks. Site spacing is good with tent sites mixed with other sites. Most RV sites are comfortable enough to enjoy for a few days, although they are in the sun and not very spacious nor private. However, site 42 is level, large, and offers some privacy, and it is located right by the bathhouse. The facilities are very clean and well maintained, and fresh water is available. Certain facilities are open in winter to accommodate people engaging in winter activities. The campground is conveniently located near local stores that offer quick shopping and excellent local restaurants with awesome food. Additionally, there are tons of things to do in the area. Within a short walk, campers can explore the outflow area, do some fishing, walk the shaded, grassy, grounds, or for a bit longer walk go up to the lake recreation area. The GAP bike trail runs right through the campground entrance. Overall, Outflow Camping is a very nice COE campground that comes highly recommended for those looking to explore the area.
