Tub Run Campground is a nice campground located near OhioPyle, PA. It features a boat ramp with floating docks for easy access to the adjoining Yough Lake, as well as a wooded valley on a bay of the lake formed by the Youghiogheny River Dam. The campground is mostly level, with gravel pads, picnic tables, fire rings, and electric and water hook ups. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the shower house is close and very clean. There are no weekend activities for the kids, but there is a large open field on the lake side perfect for kite flying and Frisbee. The campground is patrolled by park rangers to ensure safety. The price for a back-in, no electric site in the shoulder season is $52/night, which may be steep for some.
