What others are saying about this campground

This campground is a great place to stay for a weekend or longer. The pool is nicely sized and the temperature is comfortable. The sites are not too bad, but can run downhill to the point where you need to have the tongue on the ground to get near level. The neighboring campers said they didnt have bread or milk on site, which can be important over a holiday weekend. The campground offers 50-amp full hook-up sites and pull-thru sites that are just feet from the road with only a split rail fence separating. There is a card to enter and exit the gate and the campground is close to a lot of things. The prices at the store are high, but the restrooms are clean and the showers are free. The tent sites are nice and the people are friendly. You can save 10% with Good Sam, and there is a low voltage issue when making a group breakfast on a hot day with lots of air conditioners running.

From The Campground

Deer Meadow Campground is a family-friendly RV campground located in Cook Forest, Pennsylvania. The 65-acre park borders Cook Forest State Park and offers wooded shady sites as well as open sunny sites for trailers and motorhomes. The campground features a hiking trailhead right out of the campground, which connects to 22 miles of other trails which take you deeper into the forest. Only 3 miles to the Clarion river where you can tube, kayak or canoe on a 4 or 10 mile water journey. The campground offers a large heated swimming pool, 2 modern playgrounds, volleyball court, 1/2 court basketball, game room, mini golf, and 4 miles of roads for bicycling & walking. Weekend activities include dances, Christmas in July, Halloween in August, and Hawaiian Luau. Heyrides are available every Saturday.
