This campground is the perfect destination for a peaceful and enjoyable camping experience. The grounds are immaculately kept and the staff are friendly and helpful. The campground offers 35 sites for transient campers, which are gravel/grass and generally level, and vary in size. The park is 40 years old, but the electrical service and water hookups are much more recent. The campground is situated at the top of a ridge overlooking a large pond and there is plenty of shade. There is also a 5 acre pond for swimming and a camp store with a seating area where they serve breakfast on weekends. The last half mile to the campground is a very steep climb, with a 14% grade and loose pebbles and gravel, so 4WD is necessary to finish the ascent. The campground is only 3 miles from the town of Mansfield, which offers a Walmart, Lowes, and propane at Agway.

Tanglewood Camping RV Park is one of the best places in Pennsylvania’s “Lake & Canyon Country” for star gazing and relaxing, as well as fun planned activities for the kids. When you are camping with us, you’ll feel you not only can watch the stars, but you can almost reach out and touch them. That’s just one of the magical things that can happen when you camp with us on Mount Tanglewood! We feature beautiful cabins, spacious RV spaces and secluded campsites and can comfortably accommodate church groups, Boy and Girl Scout troops and other large gatherings.
