Keystone State Park in Derry, PA has two loops for visitors to choose from: Hillside (pet-friendly) and Lakeside (not pet-friendly). On the Hillside Loop, there are spigots around the loop but any vehicles trying to get to their site behind you will have to wait as the road is narrow. The spigot near site 58 is on the drivers side, while the other two are not. With 30 amp electrical hookup but no water hookup, visitors should fill their tanks before setting up. The campground is a great place for kids and the beach area has a playground. The park is also great for outdoor activities like fishing, swimming, hiking, biking, and kayaking. Visitors have easy access to anything they want to do. While the campsites are a little tight, especially for larger campers, the overall stay is very clean. The updated bathrooms could use a good cleaning, but the overall stay is still enjoyable. The roads inside the park are one-way but still narrow and tight for maneuvering. The cost for a 30 amp electric only site was $32 with a discount, which some visitors may find a little steep compared to other campsites. Note that there are no camp hosts or ranger on site, but the overall stay was great.
