GenieSummary
Brandywine Creek Campground, located in Downingtown, PA, is a well-maintained park with a mix of sunny and shady sites that can accommodate visitors preferences. The electric, water, and sewer connections were well-maintained and placed for easy hookups. Fire pits and picnic tables were also provided. The laundry/bath house is a bit dated but clean and usable. The individual rooms include a sink, commode, and shower with plenty of room. There is a mix of those leaving their rigs permanently and those just visiting, and everyone generally keeps their site well-maintained. The owners of the park keep the grounds well-groomed and it shows. There is a pond, basketball court, beautiful pool, and playground area. The park is located along a very picturesque narrow winding road (Big Rig-friendly just be careful). Signage is a little on the small side, but the park is paving all the way including inside the park. Check-in is efficient and friendly, and the rules are fairly basic. WiFi works well, and each site has a table and a fire pit. Some sites had a vegetation privacy barrier. The pool is available in season, and there is a very pretty creek running alongside the property. This is a very quiet and relaxing park. There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance, but just a short drive away, you can find food, shopping, and convenience stores. Visitors paid $55.00 per night and felt they received fair value. They would definitely return if in the area again.
