This campground is located on a river, with lots of riverfront sites. It could be a bit muddy depending on the river level. The campground road is uneven, dirt/gravel, narrow with low branches and wires strung at a nail biting 13 6. There are three riverfront sites with 15 amp electricity, fire rings, picnic benches and full hookups. The store sells bait, tackle and rents boats, canoes and kayaks and will provide transportation for float trips. The cable TV had a good variety of channels and worked well. The bath houses are a bit rough, but the water is great and the town is charming. The train runs nearby all night long, but it is soothing to some. There is no playground, but great for kayaking and tubing. Maintenance is needed.
