What others are saying about this campground
This campground is located in a beautiful part of the state with lots of activities nearby, however it is in desperate need of some maintenance. The interior roads are full of bumps and gullies and are barely passable for large vehicles. There are lots of broken down and vacant trailers throughout the campground, and the mini golf, game room and rec room are all falling apart. The campground is not suitable for families, as there is a lot of partying and drug use going on, and people are often seen drinking in public. The tent sites and cabins are often full, and the staff are friendly but not very helpful. The fire truck ride was full of people bringing bottles and there was a whiskey bottle being passed around the pool table in the game room. There are multiple playgrounds, but one of them has a mature poison ivy vine growing on the wooden playset. The golf course is poorly maintained and you have to pay to use it. There is a sewer line back-up and the dumpsters are jam packed. Overall, this campground is not suitable for families and is best avoided.
