The campground offers a wide variety of environmental education programs, including hands-on activities, guided walks, and evening programs. The park also has an Environmental Education Building with exhibits and information on what to do and see while in the area. The campground is ADA accessible and offers access for people with disabilities. The nearest hospital is Cole Memorial in Coudersport, PA. The campground hosts an annual Autumn Festival on the first Saturday of October, weather permitting, which is a celebration of old time skills and crafts. The festival includes make-it and take-it crafts, examples of old time crafts like quilting, tatting, bee keeping, woodcarving, and candle making, and lots of good food. The campground is open for overnight lodging during the 2023 Trout Season. Free sunscreen is supplied at the state park throughout Pennsylvania ahead of National Sunscreen Day.
