Each site is equipped with a fire ring, picnic table and paved parking area. The small campground has around 40 sites offering an uncrowded camping experience. The bathhouse and laundry facilities are well-maintained and provide essential amenities for those staying long-term. The campground is in close proximity to Lake Erie and offers nice views from most sites. The location is great for those who enjoy walks out to the lighthouse, and its also a short walk to access the lake to enjoy water activities. While there is no Wi-Fi available, most mobile carriers have excellent service.

Lampe Campground is located on Erie's Waterfront District and offers 42 waterfront campsites alongside Lampe Marina. All sites include water and electric (20 30 & 50 amp), picnic tables, fire rings, restroom facilities, and dump stations. The campground also features 24-hour security, laundry, shower facilities, and a bike path to bayfront attractions and Presque Isle State Park. Nearby boat rentals, fishing charters, and a free public boat launch ramp are also available. Camping season runs from May 1- October 31.
