This campground is the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. With a variety of sites, including tent sites, van life/electric sites, RV sites, pavilions, and field sites for large groups, there is something for everyone. The sites are spacious and mostly private, and the wooded areas provide a feeling of seclusion. The owners are friendly and accommodating, and the campground is dog friendly. They also offer a disc golf course, a camp store with candy and smores ingredients, and wood for sale. There are private showers and portopotties, although the bathrooms are a bit worse for wear. The campground has not had sufficient maintenance in recent years, so there are some issues such as non-working restrooms, roads needing more gravel, and poor drainage. However, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the stargazing opportunities are amazing.
