What others are saying about this campground
. Crooked Creek Campground is a small, quiet campground located next to Crooked Creek Lake. The lake is manmade and maintained by the Army Corps of Engineers, and is great for kayaking and small boats. There is a small beach and picnic tables, as well as two shelters for setting up tents. There are lots of fire pits and grills, and the creek is a great place to cool off in. However, the campground has a fair bit of trash on the ground, so it is important to be mindful of this. You need to register your car if you are parked there, as the park gates close every night. The spaces are small and out in the open, but they are grassy and quiet. There is a dump station and one water bib by the restrooms to fill up your camper. There are also boat ramps, disc golf, corn hole, and a playground for kids.
