Two Mile Campground is a hidden gem located in the woods of Franklin and Oil City, Pennsylvania. The campground is county owned and offers a variety of sites with full hookups, including sites large enough to accommodate 3-4 motorhomes. The sites are separated by trees and offer a private, no-frills camping experience. The campground also offers fishing, hiking trails, canoeing, kayaking, and a clean shower house. Verizon cell service is available, however AT&T cell service is not. The lake is beautiful and has a huge swimming area, although it is closed at the end of the season. The campground is ideal for mountain biking and genealogy research, and is only 15 minutes away from Franklin and Oil City. The main drawback is that it is difficult to find the first time and there is not good signage or directions.

From The Campground

Two Mile Run County Park offers a family campground with 72 secluded campsites, including full hookup, water's edge, and electrical sites. There are also 32 primitive sites, 7 of which are walk-in tent sites only. Campground facilities include modern showers, restrooms, and a waste station. Pets are permitted in campsites but must be on a leash at all times. A campground host is available for your convenience, and campground rules, regulations, and maps are available from the host or at the Park Office located in the Nature Lodge.
