Drummer Boy Camping Resort in Gettysburg, PA is a large, wooded RV park close to Gettysburg National Park. The park has many trees, which is great for providing shade. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they even called the day before check-in to confirm the reservation and answer any questions. The on-site amenities such as utilities, hookups, and pull-throughs are well-maintained and work well. During the fall, the foliage is beautiful, but there were lots of leaves falling on the ground. There are a lot of seasonal campers in the park, but they are friendly and welcoming to everyone. The park had fun Halloween decorations, including a golf cart parade and trick or treating. However, the speed bumps were rough. Overall, it was a great place to stay and would stay here again in the future.
