Gettysburg / Battlefield KOA Holiday is an excellent campground just outside downtown Gettysburg. The campground is well-maintained and leveled with gravel and packed down. The bathrooms and showers are immaculate while the play area for kids and pool are well-maintained. Theres a nature trail on the campground dotted with trees and boulders, perfect for dog walks. The staff is friendly and helpful in ensuring guests have an enjoyable stay. The on-site amenities include soft serve ice cream and breakfast on the weekend. However, some sites are close together, requiring tight maneuvering. Some amenities like cable hookups are available for an extra cost. Although cell phone service was poor, the Wi-Fi was okay and reliable.
