The bathrooms are clean and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. Homestead Campground is a quiet, peaceful campground located just an hour north of Philadelphia. It is a great place for those looking for a low cost, no frills camping experience. The campground is owned and maintained by a mother-daughter duo and their late father, who was the handyman who kept everything running. The campground offers full hookups, including water, sewer, electric, and cable, and the interior roads are suitable for big rigs. There are plenty of spacious sites, many of which are wooded and best suited for pop-ups and small travel trailers. The bathrooms are clean, and the owners are friendly and accommodating. The campground has a playground, a hidden pool, and is close to many attractions, including Valley Forge National Park, King of Prussia Mall, and a train station to catch the SEPTA rail into Philadelphia. The only downside is that the bathrooms are a bit dirty and the pool is gross. However, if you keep to yourself, youll be fine.
