What others are saying about this campground
Promised Land State Park in Greentown, PA is a nicely maintained park in the Poconos. It is an average state park with centrally-located, well-maintained, and cleaned bathhouses. In addition, its toilet paper quality is better than most places. The park is pet-friendly; some camping sections allow pets while others do not. The park has many multi-use trails that offer excellent hiking opportunities. Free maps of the park and trails are available at the office and bathhouses. However, some of the trails can be difficult to find. The park also has a convenient dump station. Cell phone reception can be weak in some areas of the park, but some areas have decent OTA channels. While the lower loops of the park have electrical outlets, there are no water or sewage hookups. Further, most pad sites are back-in and not very big. The roads in the park are terrible, and bikers should be careful while biking. Be sure to double-check park rules and amenities before reserving a campsite.
