What others are saying about this campground
Codorus State Park is a large and well-maintained state park located near Lake Marburg. The lake is large and offers many recreational activities such as boating, fishing, scuba diving, kayaking, and canoeing. There is also a marina where you can rent boats, paddle boards, and canoes. The campground includes a large number of spacious and wooded sites, a huge swimming pool (for which an extra fee is charged, discounted for campers), a number of weekend activities, miles of hiking, biking and equestrian trails, a disc golf course, and abundant recreational opportunities on the 1275 acre Lake Marburg. The sites are electric only and do not have water or sewer hook-ups. The park staff is friendly and helpful and rangers make periodic patrols through the campground. There is also AT&T 5G available for web surfing, email, social media, and streaming to your TV. The entrance to the campground can be challenging to find, so be sure to check your directions carefully. The speed limit in the park is 15, but cars have been seen driving by at least 35. Check-out time is a generous 3 p.m. and the restrooms are centrally located in each loop of the campground with garbage dumpsters nearby. There is also a waste dump station and fresh water right inside the gate. Despite some negatives such as the pet policy and the grouchy woman at the check-in booth, this is a nice campground and many people would stay here again.
