The park offers a mix of modern and rustic facilities, including a modern campground, cabins, and Lakeside Lodge. The park has 44 miles of trails, a beach, and opportunities for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and hydrobiking. The Wildflower Reserve contains one of the most diverse stands of wildflowers in western Pennsylvania, with more than 700 species of plants. The park offers a wide variety of environmental education programs, including curriculum-based programs for schools and youth groups. The park is open every day of the year, sunrise to sunset.
