The park is more of a weekend destination for locals as there are more seasonal rentals than campers stopping by. This campground is located in a quiet, scenic setting, with mostly permanent resident campers and some gas pipeline workers. It is not ideal for big rigs, as the roads leading to the campground are narrow and bumpy. The FHU, pull-thru sites are level with gravel surfaces, and include picnic tables and fire pits. 50 amp electric and cable TV are available, but there is no satellite reception or Verizon WiFi. The site layout is a little strange, and it can be difficult to find the right spot. Despite this, the space is comfortable and quiet, and all amenities work.
