What others are saying about this campground
Blue Knob State Park is a small, quiet campground located in Western PA. It offers room for tents and travel trailers, as well as two walk-in sites. The campground is surrounded by lush forests and mountains, providing spectacular views and plenty of hiking trails. The campground is small and fills up quickly, so it is best to book in advance. The park does not offer firewood for purchase, so it is important to bring extra. The campground is close to a ski resort and golf course, and there is a pool at the bottom of the mountain, about a 5 minute drive away. The campground is along the main road into the park, so there is a lot of vehicle traffic noise. There is limited cell service, so it is important to be prepared for that. There is also a Lost Children of the Alleghenies Monument nearby. There are occasional short bursts of rainfall, so it is important to come prepared for that as well.
