This campground is located along the Susquehanna River and offers access to swimming, boating, and fishing. The majority of campers staying here are working on local construction projects, and only a few are vacationers. Unfortunately, the campground is run-down and there is noise from the highway, a train, and construction vehicles on the property. The entrance driveway is over some very rough train tracks and many of the sites have junk and scrap all around. The house at the main entrance is also run down with broken windows. This campground is not suitable for large RVs due to the difficult entry/egress and the lack of amenities. Weekend rowdiness is also an issue, so it is best to avoid staying here on the weekends.
