The campground is surrounded by many trees and offers plenty of shade, but some sites might require extra effort to level as not all the sites are level. The bathrooms at the resort were clean and well-maintained. The resort is ideally situated near the town and highways but far enough from the roads noise level. A county trail at the back of the campground leads to the town and Mauch Chunk Lake, which is an easy walk. The campground also features many seasonal campers who were friendly and kept their spaces in excellent condition.

Our camping season runs from April 1 through October 31, and the real excitement kicks off on Memorial Day weekend, where we open our sparkling pool, host wine and cheese tastings (juice and cookies for our young campers), and provide lively entertainment with a DJ and much more! Discover a world of adventure at our doorstep with the nearby Lehigh Gorge Trail, perfect for scenic hiking and biking. Embrace the entertainment at Penn's Peak, offering concerts and events with breathtaking mountain views.
