What others are saying about this campground
This campground is perfect for a peaceful getaway. Located in a secluded park with lots of trees, the campground offers easy access to nice hiking trails and a reservoir with lovely views. Unfortunately, the water level in the reservoir is low in late summer and fall. There are lots of trails down to the river where you can swim and use inflatables or boats. The campground is quiet, as the hostess does not tolerate loud music. There are full hookup sites, some with just electric, and many non-electric sites. There is a dump station and potable water in the park, as well as a tenting area. There are also pit style bathrooms spread out, and a nice shower house in two sections. The sites are spacious, with trees and brush between each for privacy, and almost completely level for parking the camper. Unfortunately, there are no play areas for kids and there is no wifi or cell reception. However, seniors with the America the Beautiful Pass can take advantage of the discount. The only drawback is the chemical toilet nearby which can give off a smell at times.
