This campground is a great place for a weekend getaway. It is located two hours away, but it is worth the drive! The rustic sites are secluded and perfect for camping, and wood is delivered right to your campsite. There are plenty of activities to enjoy, including fishing, kayaking, and swimming in the lake. The staff is friendly and the bathhouse is the cleanest you will ever experience. The road leading in is a gravel path, so be sure to take your time. The campground is mostly seasonal, with plenty of permanent structures around, and is very well maintained. There is water and electric, and a free honey wagon every Monday. The campground also has plenty of golf carts and other activities. Be aware that some of the spots are not well maintained, and the incoming road is very dusty.
