This campground is a great place to stay for a peaceful and scenic getaway. It is located on a cliff overlooking Lake Erie with a long flight of stairs going down to the beach. It is clean, quiet, and has some great views of the lake. There are a large number of RV sites along the western edge of the campground, RV17 through RV28, but they may not be long enough to stay hooked up unless you have a tiny trailer. There are power pedestals and water connections for the lower sites, but the further you go, the more sites per water connection. Unfortunately, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless are not reliable here, but AT&T hotspots and phones work better. There is no Wi-Fi at the campsites near the lake, but there is a Wi-Fi hotspot in the office. There is also a large heated pool and plenty of activities to do, such as fishing and hiking.

YMCA Camp Sherwin is a public outdoor recreation and camping center located on the banks of Lake Erie. It has been serving the region since 1912 as a destination for family and youth recreation and outdoor exploration. The camp offers organized activities for kids and extended season for hunters, fishermen, families, and groups.
