Elk Creek Campground is a great place for anyone looking for a unique camping experience. Located on Elk Creek, the campground offers cabins, RV/tent sites, and plenty of world-class fishing opportunities. The front desk staff is very business-like, which some may find off-putting. The restrooms near the entrance are dated but still functional, and there are port-a-Johns near the tent sites. The cabins are heated in the fall and winter, and can sleep up to 8 people. The campground also offers tent camping in an open field. There is no water or soda machine, so make sure to bring enough hose to connect to the water. The good thing about this place is that it is backed up to Elk Creek, so you can watch fishermen fishing for steelhead. The bathrooms are not cleaned and can smell, and the lights have to be turned on manually. The sites are close together, making it difficult to put up an awning, and there are no picnic tables or fire rings. All in all, Elk Creek Campground is a great place for anyone looking for a unique camping experience.
