What others are saying about this campground

This campground is a large, resident-owned community located in the northeast Poconos area. It is convenient for visiting the area and is filled with many seasonal campers. The interior gravel roads are pot hole ridden and the water is on a boil advisory. The pool is heavily chlorinated and the beach has been closed for years. The rest rooms are old and smelly and the staff is not very welcoming. The sites for travelers are heavily wooded and hard to back into. There is no access to most amenities for visitors and the security left us with the feeling of being inmates. The Verizon cell service is poor and the roads are dusty. The only WiFi available is down the road at Ray N Charles Deli. The laundry requires tokens instead of cash. This is not a place for those looking for a relaxing get-a-way as the fees and taxes are high and the atmosphere is not welcoming.
