Shady Oak Campground in Newmanstown, PA is a family-run campground and a wonderful place to visit. The owners take a lot of pride in the upkeep of the campground, which is very well maintained. During our visit, we spoke with the owner who was very friendly, accommodating and informative. Our campsite was spacious and could accommodate a bigger rig. The campground was quiet at night and surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the area. The firewood was reasonably priced at $10 for 25 pieces. We enjoyed our stay at the campground and would recommend it to others looking for a peaceful and relaxing camping experience.
