The staff is very helpful and the grounds are mostly gravel with lots of shade on most sites. The premium sites include a gas grill and some sites bump up on the woods around the edge, which are ideal. The campground has good wifi and power, water and sewer hookups. There are playgrounds and a swimming pool for the kids, and guests can visit for a small fee. Cumberland County and Carlisle are beautiful parts of the country. The quiet and peaceful setting is perfect for those who want to get away from electronics. Overall, its a nice campground, and a good change of pace for those who prefer to stay at state parks with larger sites.

With 100 spacious and shaded full hook-up sites, along with tent sites and cabins, Dogwood Acres has you covered. The campground offers a variety of amenities including a swimming pool, fishing pond, playground, paddle boat rentals, snack shack, and more. There are also plenty of activities to keep you busy, such as hiking, disc golf, basketball, volleyball, shuffleboard, and horseshoes. Passport America is accepted before Memorial Day and after Labor Day, Sunday through Thursday.
