Don Laine Campground in Palmerton, PA sits in a picturesque setting with rolling hills and wandering deer. The FHU sites have water/electric/sewer all working well and were conveniently placed for ease of use. The pool was closed for the season but looked like a well-kept pool and bathhouse. The office, which was large and had a store and restaurant inside, also gated with a $10 deposit for the key card which is refunded upon return of the card. The owners and staff were welcoming and friendly, and the shower facilities were situated near the wooded seasonal sites that provided plenty of shade. While there are some minor issues like a sewer pipe thats too small to insert a sewer donut and not sending any types of confirmation, the campground has a lot of positive aspects that make it a worthwhile destination for RV campers. One unique thing about this place is that the owner allows people to double-up on single sites, which means that some sites can get crowded depending on how many people show up. If you prefer privacy, this might not be the best option for you.
