What others are saying about this campground
Kettle Creek State Park is a beautiful, secluded campground in the Pennsylvania mountains. It features the Alvin R. Bush Dam built in 1961, as well as many recreational facilities built during the Great Depression. Campers can enjoy kayaking, fishing, and electric trolling motors in the large reservoir lake, as well as in the creek above and below the reservoir. The upper campground has a rustic feel and is perfect for wildlife encounters, while the lower campground has sites right on the water and bibs nearby to fill campers and jugs. The park also offers electric hookups on some of the RV sites and showers at the lower campground. There are also plenty of hiking trails, including the Nature Trail and the Donut Hole Trail, as well as nearby attractions such as Hyner View, Pine Creek Gorge, Benezette, and the Kettle Creek Vista. Campers should be aware that the creek is off limits for swimming and wading, and that random people may walk through the sites along the creek.
