This campground is a great spot for a family vacation. It is located on a mountain top, so the roads are a bit difficult to navigate, but the staff is friendly and helpful. The sites are private and wooded, and the bathhouse is clean and heated with good hot water. The pool is closed in the offseason, but looks nice with lots of things for children. The core area of the campground is well laid out, with pools, pavilion, rec-field, store, bathrooms, playground, etc., all in one area. There are lots of planned activities for the themed weekends, but the seasonals have taken over the main campground. There is a nice fishing pond and open sports field for the dogs. Golf carts are available to rent to get to the water park, which is far from some of the sites. Prices have gone up, so seniors may not be able to afford it.

Adventure Bound Eagles Peak is a camping resort located near Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The resort offers a variety of amenities including two heated swimming pools, an 18-hole miniature golf course, camp store, laundry, Wi-Fi, free cable TV, a large recreation lodge, two playgrounds, a variety of sport courts, and a fishing pond. The newest addition to the resort is a Splashpark. The campground is set in the beautiful wilderness of Amish Country and is ideal for families and friends looking for a relaxing and adventurous outdoor vacation.
