Hickory Hollow Campground is a peaceful and clean campground surrounded by beautiful farmland. While it appears small online, the campground is actually quite large. The seasonal sites are in the back while the transient sites are in the front, a mix of back-in and pull-through sites. The sites are a decent size and have nice grass, with pull-throughs being long enough for big rigs. The roads are wide and easy to navigate for large rigs. All sites have full hookups and cable TV is included. Wi-Fi is provided as well and seems to support streaming. Verizon and AT&T service is good. The campground amenities include a large dog park, fishing pond, and playground. There is a seasonal pool as well. The park is well-maintained and kept clean. The bathrooms we visited were clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, Hickory Hollow Campground is a good value and a great option for a peaceful camping trip in the area, with something for everyone from seasonal campers to tent campers to RVers.

Hickory Hollow Campground is located in southwestern Pennsylvania in the heart of the beautiful Laurel Highlands of Somerset County. Our new facility offers full hookup, back-in, and pull-through sites. For the more traditional camper, tent sites are also available. We provide wide roads for today’s larger motorhomes and a safe environment for walking and biking. Our campground is located on over 75 acres of rolling countryside with a lake and many wooded areas. Along with the beautiful surroundings, we offer the serenity of the country and many activities for your enjoyment. If your interests extend beyond our camping activities, Somerset County and the Laurel Highlands region have many amenities to offer. From skiing and whitewater rafting, shopping, parks, resorts, festivals to sightseeing, Somerset County has exciting recreational activities and events to keep even the most active person satisfied.
