Shawnee State Park is a beautiful campground located in rural Pennsylvania, just 10 miles west of historic Bedford. The park offers a variety of amenities, including a large lake for fishing and boating, hiking trails, a playground for kids, and kayak and canoe rentals. The campground features full hookup sites, with 50 amp power and plenty of room for smaller trailers and large trucks. The sites are terraced and slightly sloped, but still level enough for comfortable camping. There is a large grassy area between sites and several large grassy areas for playing fetch with your pet. The bathrooms are older but are cleaned daily. Unfortunately, there is no wifi or air TV, but satellite connection is possible. There is a large poultry farm in the valley below the full hookup loop B, but it is far enough away that it does not interfere with the camping experience. The park also offers a variety of outdoor activities, such as hiking, biking, fishing, and paddling. The nearby attractions include Old Bedford Village, Coral Caverns, and Gravity Hill. Shawnee State Park is a great place to visit for a peaceful and enjoyable camping experience.

The park is situated ten miles west of the historic town of Bedford along US 30 and features modern recreational facilities that blend into the natural environment. A focal point of the park is the 451-acre Shawnee Lake.
