Located in Shartlesville, PA, Appalachian RV Campground is a large campground with many amenities. The campground has a store, a diner, and a small kids park on site. The pool is very nice and they have bingo, which is always fun. There is a pond to fish in, and the tent sites looked spacious. The staff were all very friendly and super helpful. One reviewer mentioned that their site was nice and level and in a wooded, nicely shaded area which is exactly what they like. However, they noted that there was not much room between sites, so there isnt a lot of privacy. Another reviewer mentioned that some sites seemed tight and while theirs wasnt, it was the smallest theyve had in a while. Nevertheless, they were able to catch some catfish in the pond and overall, they had a pretty nice time at Appalachian RV Campground.
