What others are saying about this campground
Clear Creek State Park is an outdoor paradise nestled in the Cook Forest. The park offers a variety of activities for the whole family, including camping, disc golf, hiking, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and tubing. Most of the campsites are right on the water, with beautiful bridges and views of the forest. The upper loop tent sites are a bit more secluded, and there is plenty of space for the larger cabins. The park also has a playground, a beach at the entrance, and a museum. The Clarion River is perfect for cooling off in the summer heat, fishing, or kayaking. There are two kayaking/tubing companies in Cook Forest to hire watercraft to float the river. Long drives into the campground from the main road, but the facilities are always clean, with large shower areas and always fully stocked with tissue. The park also offers movies on an outdoor screen, regular nature talks and walks, and a general store just 5 minutes away. Verizon service is available, but no wifi. Firewood for sale is available near the dump station. The campground is a great place to relax and get away from it all, with plenty of trails for long walks and exploration.
