Fantasy Island Campground in Sunbury, PA is a clean and quiet campground located right along the Susquehanna river with docks and a boat ramp available to use. There are plenty of access points to points of interest and stores nearby. The campground is a smaller one with mostly seasonal guests. Although some sites are tight, the staff is helpful and pleasant. The pool is kept clean and is a good temperature. The laundry and bathroom facilities, while not upscale, are kept clean. Although some guests would not revisit due to the tightness of the sites and the strong seasonal guest presence, the campground is overall clean and friendly.

From The Campground

Fantasy Island Campground is a family-friendly camping destination located on Packer Island, along the banks of the Susquehanna River, between Northumberland and Sunbury, Pennsylvania. The campground has approximately 100 sites, all of which have water, electric, and sewer hook-ups, poured concrete patios, and are 30 or 50 amp capable. Transient sites have a fire ring and plastic picnic table, and the campground offers cable TV and free WiFi. Fantasy Island Campground has a full range of activities for the entire family, including special themed weekends, planned events, and live entertainment. The heated, in-ground swimming pool is a great place to relax, and there is a 9-hole miniature golf course, arcade, and playground. The entire family can get competitive playing volleyball or corn-hole. Rates are available for nightly, weekend, weekly, and monthly stays.
