Mountain Top Campground is a great place to stay - its hard to imagine such a quiet little campground in the woods less than ten miles from downtown Pittsburgh. The owners are wonderful and helpful, making sure that everyone has a positive camping experience. The facilities are clean, safe, and family-friendly - making it a great choice for those camping with children. The sites are level and include hookups, with gravel pads, picnic tables, and fire rings. The campground is on top of a mountain, offering fabulous views, but the road up can be narrow and twisty. However, the directions provided by the campground are spot on, and there are plenty of signs to help navigate the area. We spoke with some other campers while walking the perimeter road, and they were all friendly and welcoming. Overall, a great place to camp.
