The campground boasts lots of room between sites, curved roads and loops that make for a very pleasant site. There are many different camping settings to choose from. In addition, the park includes a boat launch, beach, playground, camp store, bathrooms, and showers. The campground is surrounded by numerous hiking trails which make it perfect for adventure lovers. The Pine loop is a great little escape for tent campers looking for a view of the lake. Note that the access gravel road to this loop is about a mile away from facilities including a comfort station with flush toilets and showers. The Pine loop only has pit latrines. Overall, Ives Run is definitely worth the visit for anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet, and beautiful lakeside camping experience.
