From The Campground

Allegheny Reservoir Hike-To Campsites offer a challenging camping experience with significant elevation changes. Campfires are permitted if maintained in a fire ring, and completely extinguished. Visitors can enjoy good wildlife viewing opportunities along the shoreline. Boating, swimming, tubing, waterskiing, and windsurfing are available on the reservoir, but there are no boat docks or launch available at the campground. The reservoir is a 'flat' water windsurfing experience. While the reservoir has currents, it has few to no waves, other than boat wake. Tent camping is available with 2 vault toilets. Please note that Northern Goshawks are a protected endangered species and feeding wildlife is prohibited.
