Set high up among wooded hills 28 miles south of Pittsburgh, the Washington/Pittsburgh SW KOA makes a fine stopover for both local and big-city attractions. Volleyball, horseshoes and a good-sized pool keep campers smiling. Wind along the countryside's rural highways, which snake over 23 covered bridges and lead to antique stores and flea markets. Visit a state treasure - Fallingwater, a house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Learn about 19th-century life at Meadowcroft Museum of Rural Life. Enjoy a game of chance at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino, with its slots and table games, about 5 miles from the campground. Pool: Memorial Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. Max pull thru: 88 feet.
