What others are saying about this campground
Its a bit expensive to stay here, but it offers a unique experience. You cant pre-book your stay and there are no modern bathrooms, but the walk-in sites are great and there are plenty of scenic overlooks and hikes to explore. The Turkey Trail is a must-do, and the West Rim Trail is great for connecting to other trails. Its a bit of a rougher climb, but youll be rewarded with a small stream filled with waterfalls. There are plenty of private campsites and you can find your own tucked away spot. The bathrooms are an easy 5-minute walk away and you can just pee in the woods if you like. Its a great spot for fishing in Pine Creek and the views of the Grand Canyon are incredible.
